Our goal is simple. To create beautiful but highly usable websites that are easy for you to keep up to date. And we’re there to provide a helping hand whenever you need it, seven days-a-week*.

What’s the process?

Step 01

Plan

The first step is to book a one-hour strategy session to talk about your organisation and your vision. This is charged at £150 and is payable in advance.

We will talk about your ‘customers’ and what they’ll need from your website, we’ll talk about design discuss your branding, content and images.

After the meeting, you’ll be given a homework assignment that usually takes one to two weeks to complete and is due 10 days before the project start date. Your assignment will include writing your content (known as ‘copy’) and sourcing your images - unless you have booked our own copywriting and photography services. If you need any help with your homework, we’re here to help. However, we need to work to strict project timelines so, if your homework assignment is not completed by the due date, we will be unable to start your project on the agreed date. If you think the dog will eat your homework, please contact us as soon as possible and you’ll be assigned an alternative date (subject to availability).

Step 02

Build

In the next step, we’ll start designing your website, using the content, branding and images that you’ve provided.

We’ll check in with you by email and scheduled video calls as the design progresses.

The site will be built for mobile and desktop visitors.

This is typically a 2-4 week process once you have paid your deposit and supplied your content. If you have asked us to help with branding, copywriting or photographs, this can increase timescales.

Step 03

Launch

When you’re ready, we’ll launch your website.

We can take care of all the technical stuff, including the purchase or transfer of your domain name, the configuration of technical things like DNS, SSL and clickjacking protection so you can sit back and admire your new site.

As part of the handover, we’ll show you how to update your website yourself. This is typically a one-hour training session over Zoom, but we also offer up to 90 minutes of in-person training for groups (travel costs apply).

We’ll provide ongoing support for you and your website on an ongoing basis. Support is just an email away.
