Sitemaps are out of date and not updating [11 December 2021]
Sitemaps on sites are out of date and have not been updated since around 10th December 2021.
This is a high impact issue on Squarespace 7.0 and 7.1 websites which is causing search engines to show outdated information, including URLs that have been removed resulting in 404s.
Confirmed as a βtechnical issueβ by Squarespace.
Appears to be resolved 02 January 2022.
