New video monetisation options on 7.1
In addition to background videos (see 18th August update) all video content can now be hosted directly on the Squarespace platform. Merchants can upload up to 30 minutes of video content per website, included in their website subscription. With Member Areas (a paid add-on feature), merchants can choose to charge a one-time or recurring fee to access their video content. Member areas plans include additional hours of video hosting storage as follows:
Starter plan: 5 additional hours (in addition to the 0.5hr included)
Core plan: 20 additional hours
Pro plan: 50 additional hours
