Introducing Nameserver Connect for third-party domains
There are now two ways to connect a third-party domain to Squarespace.
Squarespace engineers have come up with a genius solution to allow customers to connect their third party domain (for example, a GoDaddy domain) to Squarespace without knowing anything about technical things such as DNS! It also means you can contact Squarespace Customer Care if you run into issues with your domain name - even if you purchased it elsewhere!
If youβre technical and you fully understand DNS, you can continue to connect to third party hosting as you did before. Yay!
