Wishlist Compatibility Upgrade

What is this?

This is a specially priced compatibility upgrade for customers who previously purchased the non-subscription version of our Wishlist plugin.

Why might I need to upgrade?

If your Wishlist is no longer working due to a major Squarespace update and you did not purchase the subscription version, this upgrade allows you to restore functionality without needing to repurchase the full plugin.

If your Wishlist is still working correctly, you don’t need to do anything. If you prefer peace of mind, consider our support subscription for future coverage.

Already a subscriber?

If you purchased a Wishlist subscription before the latest Squarespace update, you’re already covered. We update your site automatically at no extra cost.

What’s included in the upgrade?

You’ll receive:

• The latest version of the Wishlist plugin

• Access to the latest full installation guide.

Professional installation is available as an additional cost option. If you request installation, and a previous version of the Wishlist is already installed on the website, we’ll handle the upgrade for you. Just provide admin access to your Squarespace site and we’ll do the rest. Once installation is complete, you’ll receive a confirmation email. (We don’t send the code or guide with this option, as the work is completed by us.)

Fulfillment timescales

Demand is often high when Squarespace roll out major changes without advance notice. We aim to supply the upgrade within five business days, but turnaround times may vary depending on current demand. Orders are fulfilled in the sequence they’re received. Unfortunately, we’re not able to offer a rush or express fulfilment option for upgrades. Note that subscribers receive automatic updates.

Support

Both options include online support.
If you’d like continued help, automatic updates, and early access to improvements, we recommend adding a support subscription.

Why is there a charge for the upgrade?

Keeping the Wishlist plugin working reliably isn’t a one-time task. As Squarespace evolves, this can require significant redevelopment behind the scenes. When that happens, we may need to update the plugin to make it compatible with the updated platform. That involves development time, testing, and ongoing maintenance work. The upgrade fee helps cover that continued investment, and we’ve kept it as low as we realistically can.

You have a clear choice

We don’t force everyone onto a subscription. Instead, you can choose the option that suits you:

Option 1: Subscription (includes compatibility updates)
If you’d rather not think about updates at all, the subscription is the simplest approach. Subscribers receive all compatibility updates automatically, without additional upgrade fees. It’s the most straightforward way to ensure your Wishlist continues working smoothly, no matter what changes Squarespace introduces.

Option 2: One-time purchase (upgrade when needed)
Prefer to buy once? That’s absolutely fine. You can purchase the plugin on a one-time basis and, if a future Squarespace update requires compatibility changes, you can pay for an upgrade at that point.

Either way, the goal is the same: keeping your Wishlist reliable and sustainable long-term.
