Fluid Engine Improvements

The Squarespace product teams are continuing to make improvements to the new Fluid Engine feature. In the first round of updates they have improved:

Mobile responsiveness
Mobile row height is now more consistent across smaller device widths. Further improvements are still required for tablet devices (and mobiles in landscape mode) but these updates are really welcome and will help to prevent large unwanted spacing

Block centering
A number of enhancements have been made to make it faster and easier to centre content on the new Fluid Engine grid. A centre line has been added and as you drag a block close to it, an orange line appears to reassure you that the block is centred. Even better, if you try to centre a block that occupies an odd number of columns (and so could not be truly centred) the block will grow by one column automatically.

Mobile reordering
The long anticipated reordering feature is now available, allowing you to quickly and easily rearrange blocks on the mobile canvas.
